POROUS ECOLOGIES
NEW YORK CITY, 2026
Porous Ecologies is a series of deep listening sessions and performances developed in New York City, 2026.
The work is the culmination of LabVerde 2026 sound art residency in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest.
Firstly performed on Endangered Species Day (May 15, 2026), this ambisonics installation is a trans-sensory
invitation to feel the Amazon as a vibrant, endangered web of relations and to reflect on what it means
to become-with the forest in times of ecological fragility.
